Cameron likes to make scrapbooks. He spends hours cutting out pictures from Sports Illustrated and pasting them in a three-ring binder with pages and pages of all kinds of sports stuff. He studies baseball almanacs and writes down rosters and stats in his book. He draws pictures of players, copying their poses on baseball or football cards.
It’s neat. I like watching him work. He’s quite meticulous.
In a month, Cameron will be nine.
When I read the story today about (finally) ousted Libyan leader, Moammar Gadhafi having a scrapbook filled with pictures of former Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleeza Rice, all I could think of was him sitting there at his kitchen table, wearing his flowing robes and sashes, maybe one of his favorite berets, with a little paper cutter, glue sticks and a pile of Newsweeks, working on his little scrapbook.
Here’s the story. Exceedingly creepy. http://tinyurl.com/4ytvf3g
I wonder if Condi is flattered? I hope she has him blocked on Twitter. If you think about it, it should have been much easier to capture him. The rebels should have just asked him if he wanted to tag along on a trip to Archiver’s for a cardmaking class. And said that if he was a good boy and didn’t kill anyone along the way, he could pick out any color of glitter he wanted. Then do the head fake and drive him to the prison camp instead. Problem solved.
